Join us on Wednesday, March 30- Thursday, March 31, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA for our 2016 Advancing Justice Conference! Co-hosted by the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation and Asian Americans Advancing Justice, the Advancing Justice Conference is the first and only national conference that focuses on civil rights and social justice in the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
A limited number of travel stipends are available to conference participants. In order to provide assistance to as many individuals as possible, stipends will not fully cover travel costs. Stipends will include either partial airfare travel or shared lodging for two nights (Tuesday and Wednesday night) at The LA Hotel Downtown. Stipend recipients will also receive a reduced conference registration rate.
Travel Stipend recipients are required to attend all conference activities and be present for all days of the conference.
Stipends will be awarded at the discretion of the conference organizers. Factors taken into consideration include: financial need, geography, underrepresented communities, and area of expertise. Applicants will be notified starting Tuesday, February 2, 2016.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Advancing Justice Conference, please click the link below to obtain the necessary information. We will connect with you about selecting your volunteer role and shift(s). Volunteers must register as an attendee of the conference.
Volunteer shifts will be allocated on a "first come, first served" basis until shifts are filled.
Volunteers are eligible to assist up to two shifts. They will receive a $30 reimbursement per shift, up to 2 shifts, for a total maximum of $60 reimbursement, towards your conference registration fee.
Discounts will NOT be made available prior to the conference. Reimbursement amount is based on the fulfillment of shift responsibilities at the conference.
